The original owners of Monte Bay were one of the first couples to buy a lot in this exclusive neighborhood so they chose one of the best lots, one with a picturesque waterfront setting and excellent privacy. Monte Bay is tucked into a really sweet location with the main house built just above the turquoise and azure waters of Monte Bay, and the guesthouse built just behind the main house. Both houses face south–southwest and are a sun lover's dream with soft breezes and warm sunshine all day long. Monte is hidden from view from the private road that accesses Klein Bay, and there are no traffic noises or intrusions. A short walk takes you to a pebble beach for swimming and snorkeling and a 10-minute swim/snorkel brings you to the white sand beach at Ditliff Point. Both Ditliff Beach and Klein Bay are protected by Ditliff Peninsula, so the calm, crystal clear waters are sheltered from heavy surf and strong winds which makes this inviting for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking. Few properties are closer to the Virgin Island National Park beaches on St. John's beautiful north shore. Four minutes to fabulous Maho Bay or Francis Bay and just fifteen minutes from Cruz Bay town, Swogjan's Dragon is a three bedroom, three bathroom villa with 2300 square feet of indoor living space and extensive outdoor decks. There are also a huge pool, a hot tub, and unbelievable panoramic views of the US and British Virgin Islands. See all the way to Virgin Gorda to the East, and to the North the views are of Foxy's on Jost Van Dyke.
The property is perfect for beach loving families and honeymooners alike, with a private but very accessible location. The layout has two king bedrooms on the main floor and a third bedroom with two queens and a twin on the lower floor, accessed by outside stairs.

Sweet Dreams Villa Rental Photos and Description
This private and romantic property is 200 feet above Chocolate Hole Bay on the southwestern shore of St. John. You will find incredible panoramic views from every room, including those of St. Thomas and smaller islands nearby. There are several beaches nearby and shopping and restaurants can be found within a five minute drive from the villa.
The main floor of the villa is 2000 square feet of completely air conditioned space. This level features two suites with king size beds, private balcony and en-suite bathrooms with oversized showers.
You will also enjoy the views from the open concept kitchen and living room. The well – equipped island kitchen features brand new appliances as well as anything you may need to prepare a gourmet meal. The living room features a large, comfortable sectional sofa, wide screen TV, and indoor/outdoor stereo system. Beautiful glass doors open up to an amazing patio with dining and lounge seating where you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the crystal blue water of the Caribbean Sea from across the infinity-edge swimming pool.
Across from the kitchen Island is a long stone wall that was part of the home’s original structure and it features native shells and pieces of coral that speak to the history of the island. Walk through the lovely stone arches to the formal dining room that includes a large, comfortable dining table and wall of windows that provide an open and airy feel to the room.
Step outside to the pool deck where you will find comfortable lounge chairs and a Weber gas barbeque as well as the 16’ x 24’ infinity-edge salt water pool. The pool has a built in lounging bench where you can relax with your cocktail to watch the sunset! In addition, the pool features colorful underwater LED lighting that you can set to your mood, and is heated in the winter. The pool area is surrounded by beautiful tropical plants providing you with privacy and a lovely oasis to enjoy the views.
The lower level of the Villa is also air conditioned and features two additional large bedrooms with king size beds and en-suite bathrooms. This area also features the incredible views as well as outdoor decks and lounging spaces.
Sustainability is important both on-island and off! The Villa features refillable fixtures in the bathroom as well as solar panels and a cistern that collects rainwater to be used for landscaping – we do everything we can to reduce our negative impact on the environment as well as the island.
The villa has been completely rebuilt and everything is new. We are finally recovered from the total destruction by Irma in 2017 and reopened for vacation rentals in April 2021. Sweet Dreams Villa is 200 feet above Chocolate Hole Bay on the southwestern shore of St. John.

Our minimum and max occupancy ranges from 2ppl to 14ppl. All of our properties are well maintained and offer all of your basic essentials for vacationing. All you really need to walk with is your swim suit, flip flops and camera!! We make your arrival and departure worry free...a breeze!
We have wonderful and reliable recommendations for car rentals, snorkeling excursions, boat trips, kayak rentals, fishing trips and more……just let us know your desires. If you’d like to have your villa provisioned prior to your arrival (recommended), we can arrange this as well. Let us do the grocery shopping and you can get busy doing the important stuff like taking in the view from your villa, or maybe choosing between a Pain Killer or Bushwasker (local drinks)….decisions, decisions!
